Individual Workshops

Groups are kept small — so every participant can meet the material one to one.

Lart Class individual programmes are designed for those curious about paper-making, those who wish to create with their hands, and those who want to bring the atelier experience into their daily lives.

Groups are kept small — so that every participant can establish a one-to-one relationship with the material. The guidance of the master continues uninterrupted throughout the workshop process.

The Workshop Process

At the end of the workshop, every participant takes home the sheet of paper they have made themselves.

  1. 01 Raw material recognition and fibre preparation
  2. 02 Pulp preparation — the meeting of fibre and water
  3. 03 Mould and casting — the moment paper begins to take form
  4. 04 Pressing and drying — the surface beginning to mature

Groups are kept small — so every participant can meet the material one to one.
