Lart Class

To learn the making of paper is to learn a different way of spending time.

Lart Class is a series of programmes through which the Lart Works atelier opens its doors. What is taught here is not merely a craft — it is a practice of slowing down in an age of speed, of thinking with the patience of a knowing hand, of conversing with material.

Why the Atelier?

The atelier is a space that slows time within a world that rushes.

It is the moment of being able to say “I am alive” while making — where hands speak before thought.

In Lart Class, participants do not only learn to make paper. They learn to read the story of a material, to transform it, and within that transformation, to find something for themselves.

This experience is not a certification programme. It is a practice of presence.
