Background
The Türkiye Tasarım Vakfı’s longstanding “Madde 1” workshop series aims to re-examine the fundamental materials of design and production. For the 2024 programme, paper was chosen. The participants were a professional group of architects, designers, and artists.
Approach
The two-session programme was structured in two distinct layers: theoretical and practical. In the first session, an in-depth transmission was conducted on the historical journey of paper. In the second session, every participant produced their own sheet.
Outcome
Held for the first time within the Türkiye Tasarım Vakfı programme, this format added a new dimension to the foundation’s agenda. For Lart Works, the workshop became a direct and productive meeting point with precisely the audience it seeks to work with.
