Zorlu Tekstil

A textile factory’s cotton waste was transformed into letterpress-printed corporate business cards.

Background

The textile industry ranks among the sectors that consume the most natural resources globally. Zorlu Tekstil sought to transform the waste left over from its cotton fabric production into a prestigious and meaningful corporate identity product.

Approach

Cotton fabric waste transferred from the factory to our atelier was converted into handmade paper pulp. The paper produced from this pulp was formed into business card format for the brand’s senior managers. Each card was printed using the traditional letterpress technique.

Outcome

The brand’s senior managers gained a powerful PR tool: a business card made from their own factory’s waste, which communicated both their corporate identity and their environmental commitment to clients.

Every collaboration begins with understanding a need.
